    SUN Mobility is backed by globally respected investors including Bosch, Vitol, Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), and Helios. With over 1.4 million + battery swaps every month and the largest battery-swapping network in India, our client is now entering Kenya, their first African market. 

    As they expand into Kenya, SUN Mobility is assembling a passionate team of self-starters and inventive problem-solvers.     SUN Mobility is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing efforts in Kenya.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to position SUN Mobility as the leader in clean mobility solutions.

    The incumbent will design and implement multi-channel campaigns—across digital, print, events, and partnerships—to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and adoption of their battery-swapping ecosystem. This is a high-impact role that combines strategy, creativity, and execution.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored for the Kenyan market.
    • Lead multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, PR, events, partnerships) to build awareness and engagement.
    • Manage digital marketing activities, including content, social media, and paid campaigns.
    • Organize and execute events, roadshows, and activations to showcase SUN Mobility’s solutions.
    • Collaborate with sales, business development, and onboarding teams to ensure marketing alignment with business goals.
    • Build relationships with media, PR agencies, and local partners to maximize reach and credibility.
    • Monitor campaign effectiveness; track and report on key marketing KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions).
    • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, communications, and customer touchpoints.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably in EV, automotive, renewable energy, or technology sectors.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
    • A relevant master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    • Proven track record in brand building, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
    • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing; exposure to fleet or mobility industries is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of digital platforms, social media, PR, and event marketing.
    • Hands-on experience in marketing analytics and performance tracking.
    • Prior experience working in startups or fast-growth environments will be valued.
