Our client DHL, a logistics organization, is looking to recruit and fill a Position of Stock Auditor.
Key Role:
The individual will be involved in checking and verifying inventory or stock to ensure accuracy, prevent losses, as well as maintaining proper records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and compare them with system records to identify any mismatches.
- Monitor compliance with inventory control standards.
- Verify quantities, conditions, and locations of inventory.
- Investigate differences between physical stock and inventory records.
- Ensure stock alignment in the Bin locations.
- Proper co-ordination with inventory team.
- May be required to undertake other duties as necessitated by business needs that may not be part of the responsibilities outlined in this role profile.
- Ensure stock handling follows company policies and procedures.
- Prepare stock audit reports after every audit exercise.
- Recommend improvements to inventory management systems.
- Record discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify areas of stock loss, wastage, or inefficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit trails.
- Suggest better stock control measures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- University Degree/Diploma/Certificate in supply Chain Management/Procurement/Logistic or a related field.
- 3 years of work experience in warehouse operations, stock auditing and inventory management.
- Experience in Product handling.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work at odd and extended hours.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS Office).
- English and Kiswahili (Fluent).
