SUN Mobility is hiring an HR & Admin Executive to manage people operations and administrative activities for SUN Mobility in Kenya.

JOB PURPOSE:

The role will involve handling recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, and vendor coordination, while also supporting office administration tasks including travel arrangements, office logistics, and sourcing of operational facilities like warehouses and showrooms.

This is a cross-functional role where the incumbent will be at the centre of enabling both talent and operational infrastructure for SUN Mobility’s growth in Kenya.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Coordinate with HR agencies for outsourced staff management and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

  • Oversee payroll processing and statutory contributions (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE).

  • Support employee engagement, performance tracking, and basic HR policies.

  • Manage office administration tasks, including travel bookings, office supplies, and facility setup.

  • Coordinate with vendors/partners for sourcing warehouses, showrooms, and other operational sites.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR and admin-related queries for the Kenya team.

  • Work closely with the India HQ HR team to ensure alignment on policies and reporting.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


  • 3–5 years of HR experience in Kenya, preferably in automotive, energy, logistics, or startup industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, compliance, and payroll management.

  • Hands-on experience with recruitment and HR operations.

  • Exposure to administrative management (travel, office setup, vendor coordination).

  • Prior experience working with outsourced HR agencies is an advantage.
