As they expand into Kenya, SUN Mobility is assembling a passionate team of self-starters and inventive problem-solvers. SUN Mobility is looking for a Business Analyst who will play a pivotal role in driving strategic finance, business analysis, and program management for their Kenya operations.

JOB PURPOSE:

The individual will focus on building financial and operational models to evaluate unit economics, total cost of ownership (TCO), and local pricing strategies. The incumbent will work closely with the leadership team to support decision-making, track execution, and manage cross-functional projects that are critical for scaling SUN Mobility’s business in Kenya.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Build and manage financial models to track unit economics, TCO, and business profitability.

  • Design and refine local pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and sustainability.

  • Support the leadership team in business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Track and manage program milestones; ensure execution across cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.

  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and board-level presentations.

  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to drive growth and efficiency.

  • Act as a bridge between finance, operations, and strategy, ensuring alignment and execution.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


  • 4+ years of experience in leading consulting firms, corporate strategy roles, or Chief Experience Officer’s (CXO’s) office in high-growth industries.

  • Bachelor degree in business, actuarial science, engineering, technology or a related field with a MBA (preferred) from a top-tier institution.

  • Strong grounding in financial modelling, pricing, and business economics.

  • Proven ability in program management and managing multiple stakeholders.

  • Exposure to EV, automotive, energy, or infrastructure sectors will be an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to structure complex problems and break them into actionable solutions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for CXO-level discussions.
