Our client, Mitsumi Distribution, one of the leading firms in the technology distribution sector providing a diverse array of authorized IT products and services across the Middle East and Africa regions is seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and client acquisition for their Managed IT Services portfolio.
JOB PURPOSE
The BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing managed services deals across IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Managed Services (e.g., IT support, cloud, security, NOC/SOC, infrastructure).
- Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability margins.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to proposal, presentation, and negotiation.
Account Development & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, CTO, IT Managers, Procurement Heads).
- Develop long-term strategic accounts and ensure client retention and growth.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service execution.
Solutioning & Proposal Support
- Understand client pain points and tailor service offerings to meet their business and technical needs.
- Prepare RFP responses, sales proposals, pricing, and contracts with technical support from pre-sales teams.
- Work closely with marketing to run campaigns, webinars, and outbound lead generation initiatives.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitors, market trends, and emerging IT services opportunities in target verticals (BFSI, SMB,Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Recommend service enhancements and productized offerings based on market demand.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5–10 years of proven experience in B2B IT Sales or Managed Services sales.
- Deep understanding of managed services models (MSP, MSSP), SLAs, and service contracts.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and end-user computing.
- Strong consultative selling skills, client-facing experience, and a hunter mentality.
