Our client, an international organization who is a leading provider of language interpretation services, is seeking to recruit an Interpreter Onboarding Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that newly recruited interpreters meet all technical requirements and are properly oriented to our company’s processes, tools, and client-specific portals. This position plays a critical role in guaranteeing that each interpreter is set up for success, from confirming internet and hardware compliance to delivering a comprehensive orientation on client platforms and procedures. Also Support interpreters in delivering vital language services across various industries

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Technical Assessment & Validation

  • Review interpreter applications to verify compliance with system specifications (internet speed, modem, headset, and computer hardware).

  • Ensure that no VPN services are used and validate IP addresses as required by company and client policies.

  • Provide basic troubleshooting guidance for interpreters to meet all technical standards.

  • Onboarding & Orientation

  • Develop and deliver orientation sessions to newly onboarded interpreters, covering the use of client portals, logon procedures, and best practices.

  • Maintain orientation materials (documentation, presentations, guides) and update them regularly based on client or system changes.

  • Record-Keeping & Reporting

  • Track candidate progress from application through successful completion of onboarding.

  • Compile and maintain interpreter records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for new interpreters, promptly answering questions and resolving issues related to technology or onboarding processes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Recruitment, IT, Operations) to continuously refine and optimize onboarding workflows.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor feedback from interpreters and incorporate improvements into training sessions and resources.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and new client requirements to enhance the onboarding experience.

Qualification:


  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Communications, or IT) preferred.

  • Previous experience in onboarding, HR coordination, or technical support is a plus.

  • 3 – 5 years of experience.

  • Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of internet connectivity, VPN usage, IP configurations, and computer hardware specifications.

  • Proficiency with common office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

  • Soft Skills

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.

  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred qualification


  • Familiarity with language service industry standards and interpreter requirements.

  • Experience providing remote or in-person training sessions.

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities, especially if relevant to the interpreter community.
