Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer in Electric 2&3 Wheelers offering continued renewable energy technology solutions through excellent customer service is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor.
JOB PURPOSE
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless installation, validation, and maintenance of parts and components on our engineering electric vehicles. Your responsibilities will include providing feedback to design engineers, supporting field testing, assisting with troubleshooting and testing of electric vehicles, and collaborating with the technician team on service and repair tasks.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and validate parts & components on engineering electric vehicles.
- Provide feedback to design engineers regarding Bill of Materials, installation, validation, accessibility, and maintainability issues.
- Support in-house or field testing and After Sales team with fault triage to determine genuine battery issues.
- Assist in electric vehicle troubleshooting and testing, diagnosing failures, and providing solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team lead to diagnose failures during vehicle testing and provide solutions.
- Assist technician team with service and repair of electrical, mechanical, and integration issues on electric vehicles and their equipment.
- Follow processes and document potential improvements and issues.
- Collaborate in the creation of repair orders, stating diagnosis, procedures performed, and parts required.
- Diagnose customer concerns, make recommendations, inspect EVs, and recommend repairs based on condition and service needs.
- Provide assistance in preparation of estimates for EV repairs.
- Maintain all technical documentation concerning deployed batteries.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), assembly, and maintenance of EVs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations relating to bikes deployed in the field.
- Take ownership of identifying faults, developing fixes, creating supporting documentation, and reporting performance metrics to the wider business.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS
- Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle components and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation and process improvement.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical software/tools.
