Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer in Electric 2&3 Wheelers offering continued renewable energy technology solutions through excellent customer service is seeking to recruit a Store Manager.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, and customer service within the inventory team. You will oversee the full order cycle, including liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers, to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, and customer service in the inventory team.

  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.

  • Arrange and plan warehouse layout, catalogue goods, plan routes, and process shipments.

  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints in a timely and effective manner.

  • Supervise, coach, and train the inventory team to ensure optimal performance.

  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets set by the company.

  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHS&E) requirements.

  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve operations and efficiency.

  • Work proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations.

 

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS


  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in retail, logistics, or warehousing.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM and technical software/tools.

  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and OHS&E requirements related to inventory management.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent team management skills.
