Our client, a travel technology company providing innovative direct booking products & solutions for Safari hotels, lodges and room providers in Africa is sourcing for a seasoned B2B Sales Executive.


JOB PURPOSE

The right candidate will be ambitious and have the experience to grow our clientele, drive sales growth, develop client relations and achieve ambitious revenue targets. They will be a go-getter with the experience to engage with C-Suite and second tier executives in safari lodges and hotels. They will also be highly involved in making insightful organizational sales decisions.


KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a growth plan focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Find and arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Close sales and surpass set targets.
  • Prepare sales contracts.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.


EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
  • Proven working experience as a business development executive in hospitality, travel & tourism.
  • Demonstrate ready network and contacts in the hospitality, travel & tourism industry.
  • Proven sales track record of meeting aggressive targets.
  • Previous experience in Hotel B2B SaaS Sales an added advantage.
  • Experience in customer support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Extensive hospitality, travel, tourism Market knowledge.
  • Time management and planning skills.

COMPETENCIES

  • Comfortable speaking about the high-level technical side of our technology solution.
  • Proficient communicator - verbal and written, with exemplary negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate creativity & initiative and require minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication & decision-making capabilities
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, team orientation, planning, organizing & managing a team(s).


  • NB: Remuneration Model consists of Basic Pay plus Commission.
