Our client in trade industry, is seeking to recruit a Business Executive. Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in the organization’s business development activities.


Key Accountabilities:   

Business Development

  1. Build networking and establish relationship with professionals and business associations to acquire new customer base and potential collaboration / new business opportunities
  2. Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  3. Identify and establish strategic partnership with the industry and related industries for the benefit of the association and its members.
  4. Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning.
  5. To perform any other tasks as assigned by Chief Representative from time to time.
  6. Using networks and online research, identify and qualify new leads.
  7. Follow up on any leads, clearly providing pertinent facts.
  8. Use telephone, email, and internet contact to build and maintain strong connections with new and existing partners.
  9. Become a product expert and be able to effectively present the Organisations services to current and new customers.
  10. Meet sales targets and KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.


Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  1. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Reporting

  1. Prepare departmental/ sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Dubai requirements, policies and quality standards


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or relevant field.

Minimum Experience and Skills

  1. 5 - 10 years of experience in sales, marketing in Membership Organizations or Associations
  2. Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  3. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  4. Good knowledge of the local market.
  5. Excellent organizational skills.
  6. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  7. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  8. Proficient in English and Kiswahili
  9. Proficiency in French will strongly be desired
