Our client in Manufacturing Industry is seeking to recruit a Carbon Credits Expert for their Clean Cooking Project. The successful candidate will support the HQ regarding the clean cooking project on field activities set-up (stakeholder engagement, suppliers identification and contracts award, cookstoves distribution and monitoring) and Coordinate daily operations of the project, such as communities and local authorities engagement, stakeholders’ relation management, stakeholder public consultation set-up, suppliers identification for cookstoves distribution and households training, service agreement preparation with the cookstoves distributor, cookstoves distribution and monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize and run the baseline analysis on field regarding the farmers’ cooking habits
• Plan, organize and run stakeholders’ consultation with local communities and authorities
• Identify possible entities able to distribute the cookstoves and perform the monitoring activities, supporting the contracts award process
• Plan, organize and manage external contractors in charge of the cookstoves’ distribution and monitoring
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Lead implementation of HSE aspects in the operations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Management
• 5 years as project manager or similar position
• Fluent knowledge of English and local language
• Previous work experience in carbon credits market
• Adequate knowledge of the International Carbon Registry VERRA
• Familiarity with the clean cooking topic
• Managerial experience
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory
• Computer literacy
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
