REPORTING TO: DIRECTORS

Our client, a fast-growing mid-sized freight forwarding, is looking to recruit a highly organized, proactive, and results driven Warehouse Supervisor with strong leadership skills to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, effective warehouse staff supervision, timely dispatch of goods, and full compliance with safety standards.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, inventory control, and dispatch processes. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a focus on operational efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee receiving, sorting, weighing and manifest handling processes.
• Ensure accurate SAP entries and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
• Supervise, train, and guide warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Call Centre, Finance, and Management.
• Liaise with clients to support smooth service delivery and operations.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CAREER EXPERIENCE

Mandatory:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.  
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.  
• Working knowledge of SAP and warehouse management systems.

Preferred:

• Experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with inventory optimization and warehouse performance metrics.

• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.  
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Reliable, flexible, and physically fit.
