  • POSITION: AFTER-SALES TECHNICIAN

    LOCATION: KENYA

    JOB PURPOSE

    We are seeking dedicated and hands-on After-Sales Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and quality assurance of client swap stations located in Kenya. This role requires close coordination with the Quality Department and customers to ensure timely problem resolution, performance optimization, and compliance with company quality standards.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Customer Complaint Handling: Resolve field quality issues efficiently.
    • Field Failure Analysis: Identify root causes of failures reported in the field.
    • Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA): Implement actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
    • Warranty Cost Reduction: Reduce overall cost of warranty claims and replacements.
    • Field Data Collection & Reporting: Gather and analyse field performance and failure data.
    • Dealer & Service Centre Support: Support service teams with technical training and issue resolution.
    • Feedback to Design & Production Teams: Close loop between field and factory for continuous improvement.
    • Field Audit & Quality Checks: Conduct periodic quality audits at service centres, dealerships,or customer sites.
    • Regulatory and Safety Compliance: Ensure field products comply with safety norms and EV regulations.

    EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a factory environment
    • Experience in vehicle maintenance or electrical appliance repair will be an advantage.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong hands-on technical ability and analytical thinking.
    • Excellent Communication skills; proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office software.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to frequent business trips across regions.
    • Responsible, diligent, and proactive in problem-solving.
    • Strong sense of teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
