  • Our client, a leading logistics organization, is looking to recruit and fill the position of a HR Intern

    JOB PURPOSE

    The individual will support the Human Resources department in matters of compliance. They will assist line management with the implementation and management of Human Resources policies, procedures, systems, and practices at the operational level.

    KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide support to line management regarding HR Processes and Procedures.
    • Files documents and employee inquiries.
    • Schedules interviews and confirms applicant availability.
    • Gathers and organizes job applications.
    • Assists in checking overall compliance with the onboarding process for new staff.
    • Performs ad hoc tasks as required.
    • Coordinate training session and prepare training materials.
    • Organizing company events, including workshops, seminars, and employee conferences.
    • Assist with the administration of new joiners and leavers.
    • Schedule site visits, where necessary.
    • Updating employee files, with necessary documents, i.e. signed employee contracts, medical aid forms, etc.

    Education Qualification, Experience and Skills

    • Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a business-related field. 
    • 1+ years experience in various Human Resources-related areas.
    • Strong understanding of the Supply Chain business and knowledge of operations.
    • Good business understanding.
    • Basic IT skills.
    • Proper organizational skills.
