  • Our client in Environmental and climate resilience services is recruiting an Administrative Assistant. Qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the Logistician in requesting supplies/works/services quotations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Arranging appointments; Typing and preparing reports; Organizing workshops in coordination with the other program staff; Acting as a receptionist.
    • Filing of administration and accounting documents and keeping up to date the filing system. - Entering bookkeeping transactions into Excel book of accounts.
    • Support the Finance Manager in any administrative/logistic needs.
    • Preparing, processing and following up on administrative arrangements and forms related to the official travel of staff.
    • Supporting the Logistician in requesting supplies/works/services quotations.
    • Supporting the Logistician in understanding the equipment/stationery needs of the PMU Office.
    • Supporting the Finance Manager in any other Office Management or Document Preparation tasks, including archiving.
    • Other administration-related duties if requested by the Finance Manager.

    Qualification and skills

    • High school diploma
    • English and Swahili Language at advanced level,
    • Microsoft Office at intermediate level

    Professional experience

    • Minimum 2 years working experience in the administrative sector for international organizations or private companies active in East Africa.
