  • Our client, a leading power solutions company in East Africa, is seeking an experienced Generator Sales Manager to drive sales and business growth of diesel generator sets across Kenya.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Sell diesel generator sets (Standby, Prime & Continuous ratings) across Kenya.
    • Develop new business opportunities in sectors such as hotels, hospitals, construction, manufacturing, telecom, and real estate.
    • Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
    • Prepare and follow up on technical-commercial proposals and tenders.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Develop and manage dealer / channel partner networks.
    • Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
    • 5+ years’ experience in generator sales or power solutions in Kenya.
    • Strong technical knowledge of diesel generators, ATS, and synchronization systems.
    • Proven track record in B2B sales and project-based selling.
    • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Kenya.
    • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Results-driven with strong market knowledge.
