JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for working with the payroll accountants to support the business and payroll reconciliations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the payroll accountants in reconciliations they will be trained in.
- Assist in collating payroll information required for accurate reconciliations to be done.
- Assist in maintaining and clearing ledgers on the system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related fields.
- Holders of CPA Part I, II, or III (K) certification or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with a KCSE mean grade of B– (minus) and at least a B in Mathematics are encouraged to apply.
SKILLS
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Very strong planning and Organization skills
- Spreadsheet creation and updating
